PACK-A-BAG

DESCRIPTION: to provide the fixings for a Christmas dinner for families in need. The St. Vincent de Paul Society Food Pantry dispenses these dinner bags from OLG on the first Saturday of December

WHEN: November of each year

HOW CAN I HELP?: pick up an empty bag(s),  fill  the bag(s) with the designated items and return the filled bags to Lower Albanese Hall the weekend before Thanksgiving. 

WHERE DO I PICK UP A BAG:  At the sign-up tables in the Church gathering space

WHERE DO I DROP OFF MY BAG: in Shepherds' Hall (Lower Albanese) or to a teen in the parish circle

OTHER INFORMATION: Along with their regular monthly distribution, Any left-over dinner bags are used for emergency food pantry requests during the month and given to the Blackburn Center, Welcome Home Shelter and the Latrobe Men’s Shelter in our area.
