OLG GARDEN GROUP

DESCRIPTION:  This work group consists of volunteers who enjoy caring for and helping to maintain the natural beauty of the grounds surrounding Our Lady of Grace Church and rectory. 

WHEN: work beings the 2nd Wednesday of April (clearning winter debris)
           summer-early October (planting, watering, weeding, & raking)

WHERE: grounds surrounding Our Lady of Grace church and rectory

HOW CAN I HELP?: assit where needed OR choose to ‘adopt’ a garden by selecting a specific area to maintain throughout the season. 
 

OTHER INFORMATION: The OLG grounds maintenance staff will share a wheelbarrow, rakes and brooms. The parish also provides Miracle-Gro, snail/slug bait, Holly-Tone, watering cans; garden hoses, and five sources of water.

The group closes the work season with a Pot-Luck dinner!

SUPPLIES TO BRING: garden gloves, weeding tools, container for weeds
         Optional items: rake, broom, dustpan, & pruning shears
