What is it?

This is a ministry of married couples to those contemplating Christian marriage in the Roman Catholic Church. Couples meet with an engaged couple in the mentor couples home for four two-hour meetings and work through a series of discussions that are laid out in the For Better and For Ever Resource Guide by Robert A. Ruhnke.

     
All couples are welcome to volunteer.

What is required of me?

·         You must be validly married in the Catholic Church and approved by the pastor.

·         Carry out the ministry as a couple.

·         Attend an afternoon training and orientation session before being assigned a couple.

What will be our time commitment?

·         Once approved by the pastor and trained, you can expect to receive approximately two couples for mentoring per year.

·         You meet with your assigned couples in your home four times for about an hour as you progress through a workbook that you have as a resource.

·         The timing and meeting schedule is at your convenience as worked out with your assigned couple.

You control whether or not you want to accept a couple for mentoring.
