MUSIC MINISTRY
There are a number of opportunities to take part in the ministry of music which contributes to our celebration of Eucharist and other Liturgical activities at Our Lady of Grace Parish. A number of these are listed below.

CANTORS
Cantors may begin to train as young as sixth grade. An informal audition is required. Though cantors are not soloists a pleasant voice, good presence and good ear for learning music are desirable qualities. Cantors must attend rehearsals before their scheduled liturgy on Wednesday evening between 6 and 7 p.m.
PREMIER CHOIR
The Premiere Choir is an adult choir that meets weekly on Wednesday evening to rehearse from 7 to 9 p.m. for the Sunday 10:30 a.m. lLiturgies, Christmas Midnight Mass and holy week liturgies. The repertoire spans from traditional to the contemporary Christian music of today. A good ear for learning music is essential. In addition to the regularly scheduled Masses, the Premiere Choir has also participated in combined diocesan choral events.
THE MEMORIAL CHOIR
The Memorial Choir is an adult choir that rehearses a half hour before the scheduled funeral Mass. Members must be available on week days (usually mornings) for funeral Masses. This is a mixed chorus (SATB).
